This week, we’re reading a satirical dark comedy about a harmfully moderate news station: The News Cycle by Ben Howard. A news anchor is doing her first broadcast and is baffled by the station’s decisions to give platforms to awful people in an effort to “see both sides of every story.” Ben discusses the nature of satire, the state of Arkansas, and the ethics of peeing in a pool.

Friday Jul 10, 2020
Friday Jul 10, 2020
Our very first bonus episode for our $5 tier and above on Patreon: Green Lit!
For our first episode, we had to do the most ambitious crossover of all time: That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana.
This episode was an hour long event but is on Disney+ as three separate episodes, one for each show featured:
That's So Raven: Checkin' Out (Season 4)
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana (Season 2)
Hannah Montana: On the Road Again (Season 1)
For our drink, we mixed Jim Beam apple whiskey with Kroger brand lemon-lime soda. Take a sip and hang out with us, and subscribe to our Patreon at the $5 level or higher for more Green Lit!

Friday Aug 28, 2020
Friday Aug 28, 2020
This week, we’re reading “What’s in the Box?” a short screenplay by Benjamin Posselt! This script is about two exes rekindling their friendship after six years when one of them shows up unannounced in the other’s apartment, and it is NOT a reference to Se7en. This script was originally written in German and translated to English so we could read it on the show! Benjamin talks about his writing process, a super cool not-a-heist script he wrote when he was 12, and whether McDonald’s or Burger King has the best fries.
